Privacy beta v1
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how MeetZen handles information during the invitation-only beta.
Effective September 6, 2026Scope
This policy applies to the MeetZen website, waitlist, product, recording workflows, and read-only MCP connection.
Information we handle
MeetZen handles information you provide, content created through the product, and limited technical information needed to operate and protect the service.
- Account and sign-in details, including your email and linked authentication methods.
- Recordings, transcripts, summaries, tasks, folders, terms, tags, speaker names, and optional voice profiles.
- Waitlist email and optional social profile.
- Security, device, request, and error data needed for authentication, abuse prevention, reliability, and support.
How we use information
We use information to provide MeetZen, process recordings, generate and organize your private conversation memory, support you, prevent abuse, and improve beta reliability.
Recordings and voice profiles
You are responsible for informing participants and obtaining any permission required before recording. Participant voice profiles are optional and can be disabled in Privacy settings. Temporary processing samples are private and removed under the retention rules shown in the product.
Service providers and disclosure
We use providers for hosting, authentication, storage, transcription, AI processing, email, security, and monitoring. They process information only to provide those services under their applicable terms. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or in a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
We keep account content while your account is active and for only as long as needed to operate the service. Product-specific temporary files use shorter retention periods. When you request account deletion, access stops immediately and an idempotent background process removes account records and stored files. Limited security or legal records may be retained when required.
Your choices
You can manage participant voice profiles, unlink or revoke connected MCP clients, export supported content, and permanently delete your account. Contact support to ask about access, correction, deletion, or another privacy request.
Security and international processing
We use access controls, private storage, encryption in transit, and owner-scoped data rules. No system is perfectly secure. MeetZen is available globally, so providers may process information outside your country subject to their safeguards and applicable law.
Changes
We version this policy and record the version accepted during onboarding. Material changes will be presented before continued use when a new acceptance is required.
